Recommendation for the full game:
Clearly a lot of time and development has gone into these siege scenes, and they are one of the few pivotal events in a war. It would be good to keep the player in them longer and make them more engaging in them fun.
From a purely game play perspective, I think it would be a good idea to add a very slow health regeneration. This would enable to players to enjoy sieges a little more and wouldn't cause any serious balancing issues. Without health regen, if you take a few arrows during a siege you're just sitting out the rest of the fight - whether you survive the arrows or not. Most players watch the siege commence for a minute or two before getting bored and trying to attack the walls. Then after taking a bit of damage either die or sit out the rest of the siege. The thing is these siege battles can go on for 20 minutes… setting up an event with 20 minutes of action but only ~ 2-5 minutes of play just seems like a waste of this beautiful scenery and action.
A very slow regen would allow the player to participate in more stages of the siege after a minute or two of rest.
