Horribly blurry gameplay video. Worth watching just for the lol moment at around 2:15. Should've recorded some better battles.

they aren't that blurry. Maybe you didn't wait for the high quality option to come up. when you first upload to youtube and the video becomes avalible, it shows the low quality version, but then it keeps processing and in a few more minutes the HQ version comes up. The first one espcially looks sharp in HQ.
If you had some recruits with your party as cannon fodder those horsemen would have been beatable. And maybe use warcry to scatter them when you're swarmed?

I have never seen so much grass in M&B, the mod looks so much nicer with good graphics. You should put it on youtube. (many people make a mistake with the name of the mod, Extended instead of Expanded )Montage

AH HQ is much better! Thanks! Hiring recruits would have been against the play style of the character. I thought Warcry required 14 charisma? And only scares weak units? I'll give it a try next time.
Got some footage showing how 450+ weap skill(focused), 10 powerstrike, and a 41 piercing damage weapon is no good against very heavy armour. Definitely going to have to get the Str up to 38 for that 52 piercing axe or maybe try a Blunt polehammer - I do prefer slightly longer weapons.

I'll have to try warcry out when I'm getting swarmed. Does it play an animation? It's kind of a pain when you stop and stand still for a moment in the heat of battle...
no, there's no animation for warcry, that would hamper it you're right.
veteran goliaths are elites with lots of life, maybe that is why they take many hits, or are you having a hard time cutting through regular goliaths because of their armor as well?
was that on full difficulty and damage? I saw how the eater of the dead hit through your block! Nice job on those barbarians, they are damn scary.
have you tried using one of the large swords, Jaeke, like Sword of War? Even though it has cutting damange, its base damage is high, and theoretically if you can dish out enough damage to cut through armor, everything that passes through the armor will not be absorbed anymore. The sword is also faster. And maybe you could place more points into INT for better first aid/focus instead of pumping str for axes/maces. I'm curisous how this axe vs big sword plays out.

Yes full damage speed AI, ah he didnt really hit through my block, i simply let go of right click 10ms too early, its a harsh mod
yea the barbarian missed me.. once i tried to fight them while they were in a group of other units.. swung slightly too slow and took 100 damage >.>
I had like 90 hp 85 head armour, 78 body armour(with gloves), so yea.. cutting weapons barely scratch me, piercing really can, dependant on who uses it. And blunt smashes the crap out of me.
I considered using a sword but.. well. too damn expensive >.<
Its only 10 or so more damage and its cutting, ill try the sword of war. balanced would be 50000 denar >.> my chars spirit is weakening so i dont know if i have the STR to be able to use it anymore.

Not all of them, they killed like 5-6 after the charge and a few more afterwards, I had almost 50 calvary men, after they first clash most of them were knocked down. But after my calvary scattered yeah, I had great losses in that battle, it doesnt show the end because fraps stop working for some reason, but thank god for surgery, I had really great losses. It was almost a even match in numbers and the lord had way too much elite units >.<
I really think I only won because of calvary.

I recently used 2 bags of stones, worked quite well, travelled far and accurate(+ prisoners too)bit low on the damage but you can throw them fast and armour means little to them, knives dont have much range... well they might in this mod, never gave them a go actually.
I prefer my other vid over those 2. Thanks for having a look.
EDIT - Knives have really low travel speed and range. Jarid/Stones win.
