Object Shows Black w/Bumpmap, DXT1

Hello,

Longtime modder and very familiar with DDS Converter, GIMP, OpenBRF, etc. I've been making models and textures for years for this game, but I've recently come across a problem and I've tried everything I can think of.

I've retextured the great_helm_new from the Native game, including creating new normalmap and specular map. In OpenBRF, the item shows, almost completely black, apart from the brightest spots on the model.

I've made sure the normalmaps, which are blue and I've tried all sorts of algorithms (Sobel, Prewitt, etc) are DXT1. I've tried reapplying the native normal map, and the item still shows as black. I've matched the shaders, and flags, and coefficients, etc all to working items to see if that made any difference but the issue persists.

I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure this out, and btw the item also shows black just like the image in game. But the mesh is very much, not black.

Can you show us the entire package, i.e. brf file (with model+material+texture) + the DDS files? I'll have a look.
Or PM them to me, if you are uneasy with disclosing them.
