North American Warband Masters Tour Rules
[1.]Format of the Competition

  • Warband Masters Tour consists of Regular Season and Single Elimination bracket.
  • Regular Season will last 6 weeks and is divided into three stages.
  • First stage is called Closed Maps mastery. It lasts 2 weeks and only Closed category maps will be played during this stage.
  • Second stage is called Mixed Maps mastery. It lasts 2 weeks and only Mixed category maps will be played during this stage.
  • Third stage is called Open Maps mastery. It lasts 2 weeks and only Open category maps will be played during this stage.
  • During these 3 stages teams will fight for the opportunity to participate in the Single Elimination part of tournament which is called Masters.
  • "The Masters" will be Single Elimination bracket for the top 4 teams that collected most points during the Regular Season.

"Mastering others is strength.
              Mastering yourself is true power."
                                                    -Lao Tzu

[2.]Pointing system - Regular Season

"Never stop trying,
              Never lose hope,
                            Every single round matters!"

  • During the first three stages of the Regular Season your team will receive:
    • 12 points for victory.
    • 6 points for draw.
    • 0 points for defeat.
  • In addition to this, teams will receive 1 extra point for every round won during the match.
  • This means that maximum amount of points one team can receive after single match is 24.
  • Points are important because they determine which top 4 teams will proceed to the Single Elimination bracket called The Masters.

[3.]Fixtures and Picking Night - Regular Season

Picking Night:

  • The fixtures themselves are made by the teams during the Picking Night.
  • This Picking Night takes place every Monday between 7pm EST and 9pm EST.
  • Each team is allotted a time-slot of five minutes to pick their opponents.
  • Priority during the Picking Night is first given to the:
    • Teams with the least amount of matches won/tied.
    • In case multiple teams have same amount of wins/ties, then the team with the most points in the Ranking Table will have picking priority.
    • In case multiple teams have same amount of wins/ties and points, then picking order for teams involved will be randomized.
    • For the first Picking Night, picking order will be randomized.
  • In case of team failing to pick opponent during the allotted time-slot they won't be punished.
  • If that happens their opponent will be randomly selected.
  • You can not pick the opponent you have played against in previous WMT Week.
Maps & Factions:
  • For the Regular Season maps and factions will be pre-determined.
  • You can see map pool for the Regular Season below in the Map Pool section.
Organizing Match:
  • Both Teams must agree on a date and time as well as book a server before Thursday at midnight PST(3am EST).

                  But a matter of choice."

[4.]"The Masters" - Single Elimination stage and Map Picking

"Champions believe in themselves,
Even when no one else does."

SE bracket:
  • "The Masters" will be Single Elimination bracket for the top 4 teams that collected most points during the Regular Season.
  • Teams positions in the Single Elimination bracket are determined by their position in the Masters Tour Table.
  • In case we have multiple teams with same amount of points head-to-head results will determine who is placed higher.
  • In case of 4 teams Single Elimination bracket, there will be two Semifinals:
    • SemiFinal A: 1st placed team in the Masters Tour Table versus 4th placed team.
    • SemiFinal B: 2nd placed team in the Masters Tour Table versus 3rd placed team.
  • In case match ends in a draw after 2 maps, tiebreaker map will be played.
  • Tiebreaker map, Winterburg, will be played first to 3.
  • Teams will select their own factions for this map.
  • Factions can be  mirrored.
  • First team to pick the faction will be the first team in the fixtures.
  • Winner of the SemiFinal A will face Winner of SemiFinal B. Winner of this match will be named WMT Champion.
  • Defeated team of the SemiFinal A will face Defeated team of SemiFinal B. Winner of this match will finish WMT as third placed team.
Map Picking:
  • During the Single Elimination part of the tournament teams will be able to pick maps for their matches.
  • Maps can be picked from the complete map pool(both Regular Season and SE).
  • The maps will be picked by the teams themselves during a Picking Night held on Monday.
  • Both teams have 2 vetoes to ban out a map from the complete map pool.
  • Team A is the team that had more points in the Table of the Regular Season.
  • Team A vetoes the first map, Team B a second map, Team A a third map and, finally, Team B a fourth map.
  • Then Team B picks the first map and Team A the second map for their match.
  • Factions for both maps will be pre-determined.
