I don't see why. They're very different, but both share the same fundamental combat system. That combat system is why I play Warband, anything else is bonus.
I just registered on this forum only to reply in this thread
That being said I do enjoy native. Porting cRPG like persistance to M&B2 would make little sense because why not just play, uhm, I dunno, cRPG instead?
It's also funny to see how both communities are drifting apart. I occasionally show up on the more populated servers and I'm getting called an autoblocker frequently on siege and battle servers and various names on Nditions for being better than people thought the average cRPG player would be.
I've yet to run into an occasion where native players get insulted for their "native style" in cRPG.
I play all 3 native classes actively, in the public servers and in matches.
Last match I had I went Archer, Infantry and Cavarly. I did well with all the 3 classes.
Totally nothing wrong with class balance.
Imo archery is underpowered in cRPG. Headshots become a legend.
Enough of this now. If you want to criticise cRPG, go on the cRPG forums. If you want to criticise Native, do so in a way that isn't flaming/dickwaving.
