Mount and blade warband mods

Hello guys I start playing mnb warband like an year ago, so I'm pretty new in this world, i would like to know something about all these mods, I don't know either how to install them or what are there for, could someone explain me all these things?

1. 'Mods' means modifications to the base game, which is pretty self-explanatory.
2. You can install them by extracting a mod to Modules folder of your Warband directory (unless you use Steam Workshop which automatically installs mods).
