Mac Mapping

Hey, i'm on a Imac and i loveeeeeeeeee Mount and Blade (2500 hours) BUT i've got 2 questions :

-In napo wars, can we disable the smoke when we fire, it's so lagggggyyyyyyy for me

-And, in Mac can we make some map editor or no ?
