Leaving A Kingdom

For example, right now I an with Sturgia. I'm married to Svana with 5 kids. Once her father Gundor or whatever as well as the current King Raganvad both die, I planned to move to the Empire. Northern Empire if it is still alive since my main base of operations is in Epicrotea was WAS the Northern Empire northernmost city until I took it. And if the Northern Empire is deadm I'll head to the Western Empire since in every game I've played, the Western Empire is ALWAYS the strongest of the trio. It usually manages to hold its own against Aserai and Battania and Vlandia.

So my question being, if I leave, does my entire clan follow me into another kingdom? Meaning siblings, companions, wife, kids ?

As far as I know yes, they follow you. I did not try joining other kingdom but I did try leaving the kingdom I was in and all of my clan followed me.
The game right now is treating all of indiviuals in a clan like one entity. I could be mistaken though.

Your whole clan acts as a single entity when entering/leaving kibgdoms.
