Jarl Halfdan, King of Northhymbre

I received a letter from Jarl Halfdan asking me to become his vassal and i accepted.
Then, they told me to find him in Bal Luighne, but i couldn't find him anywhere near Bal Luighne.

When asked where is him, his vassals always say that he is travelling to Edynburh and is close to Bal Luighne, but this is happening for more than 10 days, he is always travelling to Edynburh and is always near Bal Luighne

I searched at sea and at land and i had no luck

i found him near edinburgh, maybe because i was lucky.
you can try the cheat that reveals the whole map.
maybe someone can tell you how (i haven't used that cheat).

I was wandering near Bal Luighne, but maybe he is stuck somewhere

But the situation is dire. Even with the cheat i couldn't fin him anywhere. I guess i'll have to restart the game or choose another kingdom

I believe its Ctrl T and then you can just move over the map to see if you can see him anywhere that way you don't need to restart the game if you don't want to.

Don't give up. I once had him disappear so I loaded an earlier save game and he was there.

Jarl Rathbarth told me to Pledge Homage to him, but it always says "Jarl Halfdan Ragnarsson is fighting the Saxons" and he is not on the map ANYWHERE. I waited nearly 4 months. Nope. Not even a sign. Still says that he's fighting the saxons.
