Improve Relation Points with Wife

Is it possible to improve your relation points with you wife?
I ended up getting annoyed at some Lords constantly coming back to siege my town after I peacefully released them, so I executed some lol

Now my Wife is classed as an enemy and relation wise we're at a cold -50 lol

Maybe it's a glitch, usually guys who do stuff like this really turn them on.

I would hope their reactions are based on traits. I have my eye on a cruel/brave lady and if she doesn't like the his & hers enemy skull cups I'm planning as a wedding gift I'll be very disappointed.
