How to siege a Castle with my allies?

I am having trouble to Siege with my rebel allies lords ,I have leadership, Marshal position and a good relationship with them. But when I take them to the castle with " Follow me" option and start to build the Siege Tower ( 60 hours) they just go away after the first night. How am I supposed to siege that castle?

That is a scripted mechanics of Native that lords get impatient and abandon you, which is bad. You can succeed besieging castles/ towns with ladders though.

What is your army cohesion score? You have to keep the score high, or armies will disband

If you have 10+4 Engineering, you can build towers in around 6 hours so Lords will stick around.
