How to recruit prisoners?

Is there a trick to recruiting prisoners?

I have some prisoners in my party. I click on them, and a menu opens up that has a button to "recruit prisoner."

However, the button is inactive.

Are there some prerequisite skills needed before being able to recruit a prisoner?

When you hover over it it will provide more information. Oder the bar next to it.

There's some value (forgot the name)
That will allow you to recruit prisoners.
You get that over time.
Just wait some days.
I think it's added at midnight

Seems that recruiting prisoners is no longer an active thing you can do like in Warband. Over time some prisoners you drag along will just be available to recruit
