How is hitstun referred to in source code?

An option would be to let berserkers have a stronger damage via agent_set_damage_modifier (mind that I don't know, what the exact effect of the berserker ability in VC is, perhaps it does it already) instead.

Another option would be to have an invisible shield which gets deactivated after some specific amount of hits depending on the skill value of the berserkering ability, via trigger with agent_set_invulnerable_shield etc.
 
Iirc it increases Power Strike, Athletics, Power Throw (?) but reduces ranged accuracy. Already increased their base strength substantially to increase both damage and health.

How does that second one work?
