How can i persuade lord to join me?

Some of these guys are 100 relations with me (high honor), but when i ask about how they like their king... They call him worthless crap... I get no option to invite. Im worried tweekmb broke my game

It's something like: Need to talk to you in private, how do you feel about your king, then "WELL I've got news for you" if they don't like king or "can I persuade you to say more" if they're okay with king. Usually you have the "can you say more" even with low relation but they get mad at you for asking.
