Care to be more specific than that?



On 1h swords most of them tend to be around 60 swing 30 thrust or 70 swing 35 thrust (I may be a little off) you have around 4 swords each in  those categories. The only difference is the looks. If you could change the damage on them to have a difference other then looks then it would be nice.

You forgot speed... which is the really important stat, price and length.  I think there's plenty of variety atm without breaking balance too badly right now.  Making the "variation" smaller steps (i.e., instead of 5 points, 1 point, etc.) is pointless in this mod, where a 1-point damage difference means nothing, balance-wise.  It's a little different with armors atm, where there are some fairly serious problems with the stats... but I'm working on that for the next build tonight :smile:
 
A few more random parties I think, maybe like in Custom Settlements for the original.

Perhaps something like some heroes that wander the map, and have random personalities, like one might be evil, good, neutral, etc, and would like you according to your honour and stuff.

I'm loving the mod so far! It plays like Kingdom Under Fire. :smile:

It's planned; I just want to get the regional mercs done first.

Perhaps something like some heroes that wander the map, and have random personalities, like one might be evil, good, neutral, etc, and would like you according to your honour and stuff.
That could be interesting, as could some variation on who hates / is neutral / likes whom.  Maybe when more bugs are polished out.

  • Allow heroes to have options to patrol your towns/villages while not being a lord. Or carry back a prisoner train to the closest castle. (hopefully it can let them recover from their feuds with another)

    Newer hero story lines, dialogues and etc (I can help with that interested?)

    Cattle follows the player

    Entrancement camp/diplomacy mod

    More interesting quests that awards you the weaponry/armory.  (rescue quests perhaps?)

    New Music (some of the old ones are quickly getting old haha)

    Maybe a few odd female lords?

hey really like the mod, however is it possible to add the gears to the factions bots in multiplayer?  hate to see them running around naked
 
Nice mod, really enjoying playing it :grin:

A few things I see that are needed:

Auto Loot for your companions, and Death-Cam/Continue battle once defeated. I know everyone is asking for these.

I notice that the Looting skill seems to have a rather low impact on the quality of loot that you get from battles. I have a looting skill of 4, and just defeated a 70 man Suiltanate army. All I got was 3 shields. I'm trying to equip my companions, but I seem to be getting next to nothing in terms of in battle loot. Is this intended? We're expected to buy armor instead of scavenge it?

This one is the one thing I think this mod really needs.

For more music, there are lots of mods with music packs that can be used. If I reccall correctly "Prophesy of Pendor" has some awesome music that I think you can pick what you want from. (perhaps just ask the moderators of that mod if its ok first) (however, everyone can fix their own music as they like. I know its nice if its all added in the release of the mod, but it just to pick and match what you want from different mods and other places) I just want to add that the music that is currenly in the mod is great! (dont think its pure warband/native music)
 
I'm downloading Utrehd's pack now.  Assuming it's OK to use, copyright-wise, I'll pick through it and see what's worth adding.  However, there's no way I'll add the entire thing- it's nearly 300MB.

I'm looking at the death-cam stuff this evening, after I've fixed the Village Raid spawn bug.

Then I think I'll look at what, if anything, I want to do about adding various features that people liked in Diplomacy, such as faction patrols.

Playing mostly with the brigand class I'd love to have the option to take a lord as my own prisoner after freeing him from the prison of someone else! Of course at a huge honour and relationship penalty. Do you think this is possible at all? Perhaps as a dialogue option once the lord is freed?
 
I really like if I could cancel raiding a village when I see an enemy army coming... Lost my troops too many times because of that

Maybe just left-click and the game asks if I really want to cancel (game asks "do you want to continue a raid" when you have won the army that attacked you during the looting)

That's something I'll have to look at for awhile.  Same goes for allowing you to interrupt a Siege to re-spec, but not resetting the Siege timer (although that's less of a problem in this mod than in Native, due to not having Belfries).

What I think I will do is to allow all characters to attempt to convert their prisoners, with a high cost in relationship with the Faction you've stolen them from, and a cost in Honor (although it may depend on how you convert them- a giant bribe may cost a lot, but be easy, while an attempt to use Persuasion / Right to Rule may not).
