I don't know if it would be possible, but I think it would be cool if this mod had special music for each faction

Here are some examples of what I was thinking of:

Holy Swadian Empire
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6TIalDn6Hw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJciJOCrJ-8

Imperial State
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2wG9IJSba4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_6AQA4uzD0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkhOxFtj7Eo

Tsardom of Vaegirs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOYmRKmMUa4 (despite the imagery, this is a Czarist anthem)

Ormeli Empire
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bp9qP5lgHnw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7k6S_9XSps

Grand Duchy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APUpXp41ppU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBIf9AFmiWM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94h3NKz9ids

I couldn't think of any good ones for the Laurian Kingdom, Haelmar Union and the Lion Throne , but that doesn't mean there aren't any. Feel free to add anything you'd think is appropriate.

Well, we have an unofficial soundtrack. It has plenty of thematic music (from TW & EU), but you can always mod the included module_music file to include your personal music. If you manage to get permission (like toonknight did) I'll toss an upload link to it or something.

Permission? You mean for the stuff that I posted?

These are all historical military marches and, as such, I'd imagine that they're all well within the public domain by now.

While the music score for those might be of free domain, the performance may not. Careful with that.

Jeez, it's been ages since I listened to the Hucum Marsi. Makes me want to start an Ormeli campaign.
Anyway, here's what I found:

Haelmar Union
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7bxXl1yyPo

Laurian Kingdom
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fW0E__TjVTA Though it's not historical.

Holy Swadian Empire
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08g_IcFXLcM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0szqSd0osoE

The real problem is the Lion Throne. Maybe some Byzantinish music could fit?
Those songs make me want to grab a pike and march off into the hills and woods

Well, I was thinking that though they're officially based on the Roman Empire, they're kinda Crusader-ish, so Crusader music might fit

Byzantine music works too

This might be appropriate too:

Oh, I know we already have a special soundtrack, I was just thinking it might be cool to add music for specific factions for flavor purposes.

Not a huge deal, but I thought it might help players get in to playing their faction more and help differentiate between them.

I always find this as a must have music for the LT
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNP9lqMVnfw

Start the music. I want you to imagine waking up in a misty field. With a fog so thick you could barely see the rising sun. Now as the music pics pace (0:20) , silhouettes start to appear around you, moving in one direction. tens - hundreds- thousands brigadiers of the radiant cross appear as silhouettes, their eyes determined, passing you by, giving you not even a single shred of attention. Other soldiers appear, auxiliaries. Banners and crosses  are everywhere.
(1:00) armored cavalry pass by around you, their height making them ominous. Thousands - walking without a word or noise... as you become oblivious to the sound of boots and hooves as the music continues.
(2:45) the mist slowly parts, until you see an entire Lion Throne Host (3:00) all in glistening glory marching inexorably to what you know as Calradia.

A little something for all those Swadian Landsknects struggling in Bermian.

A song about spiffy hats!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09gRYDsVsLQ&feature=related

I think it may be a little to bouncy a tune for Calradia; it does end appropriately though.

I would really like to see the start part of this one on one of the germanic factions (Prussia?- Imperial State ?):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29eREwa2eFA

And this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLIWpCn8LQU&feature=player_detailpage#t=186s (until the part where it starts "happy" again)

And this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ETNoPqYAIPI#t=1889s

I will leave some of those here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYoJ4fhMlC0 (the part that could be in starts around 1:50)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X9LvC9WkkQ

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gy5Ve3338-E

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goeOUTRy2es

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMGKtXElgvA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5poSw7tFLB4

PD: Anyhow, I don't see how you can implement this without the cheesy part of listening it everytime you enter a town or you win a battle on a side or something like that. My idea was to play it when you get as vassal of the culture, so it's one time and one go

Hehe, I just found the Vaegir version of this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhb7jlXurkE

You're right. I got confused by the word "burlack", which is just a translitteration of "burlak" (pron.: boo-rlàk), meaning something similar to "boatman". So similar, in fact, that sometimes they're used as synonyms in English. "Volga Burlacks' Song" is a wrong title, though, because I can't find anything similar to it in Russian. I don't know what's the original name of the song.
