FrisianDude said:Damn. Depends who is the better fighter. A skilled viking can with the right skills and luck, take down an equally skilled Native American warrior and vice versa. It's impossible to detemine unless you actually pit one of each against one of the other and even then, the results aren't representative because one viking isn't every viking and one Native American isn't every Native American.
Yeah, but "own then get owned" had a better ring to it than "own and then the leader gets shot with an arrow (they (the vikings) say it was a uniped, but we all know that's not true) and they go away, then the grandson or something comes back a little bit later and some people get sick and his wife dies (IIRC) and they leave again, though they might return a third time, but I can't remember."James said:Not really. Vikings just didn't feel like bothering with the annoyance, and left.
Let's say in modern-day Canada/North USA.Swadius said:Yeah, I know what you mean. The category of Native American is really an equivalent to European, Oriental, or African. It's too broad.
