Hi guys,
I appreciate your suggestions. The thing is I rarely can gather much interests to make new things. And what I do is only based my preferences. In addition I can no longer run the game with dx9, only with dx7, thus the quality for me is terrible. Maybe my graphic card got hardware issues or the drivers don't support some old features, I don't know. So it's not very encouraging to make new things without the ability to enjoy my own creations. Despite of this there will be new things.

Greetings. I know it's been a long time but i want to tell you the solution in case you haven't fixed it yet. Configure > Video > click and actived "Load Textures On Demand". This way you will play on dx9 without crashing issues.

Also, is anyone else actively playing this mod? I just wondered

Thanks, but that's the basic setting. I found a solution anyway limiting the frame rate.

I do occasionally.

I've become tired of the gameplay of Mount and Blade but it's still nice to poke in and try out some things or tweak the mod once in a while.
