In Progress Crashing upon hitting Sandbox/New campaign

Summary: Fresh install. Just bought the game, spent about 30 minutes trying to launch it. It doesn't move past the initial screen. Upon hitting New campaign or Sandbox mode the game crashes. It's a fresh install, there are no mods.

One additional thing, the only way for me to launch the game is through Bannerlord.native.exe. Since I want to use the mods this not really a long term solution. Maybe this helps to narrow it down.

Is there an ETA on this fix? If it's known, is it expected to be in any of the later patches? Last one - 1.02 didn't fix it.
