While it is welcome and encouraged that players make suggestions for the improvement of the tournament it is not appropriate to complain of bias if the suggestion is not implented. The admins have to take a wider view than individual players take and the most usual reasons for a suggestion not being adopted are adverse effects not anticipated by the suggestor or increase in admin effort out of proportion to the benefit to the players.

General attacks on the admins integrity and motivations are not OK. Repeated insinuations of bad behaviour by admins is harassment and is neither appropriate nor acceptable. Allowing those attacks to continue without consequence encourages other players to think there might be some truth behind them or at least to use such antisocial tactics themselves. Such sustained attacks are distracting their time and energy from the essential work of running the tournament.

In the recent controversy there have been the most egregious repeated attacks both in private messaging and on the public forum on the integrity of the admins. To protect the individuals from such attacks and to show that such attacks are not appropriate there is no alternative but to ban individuals who persistently misbehave from this season of BEAST.

Ban: Wegnas

Wegnas chose to insult the Administration on the forums. He therefore is banned on the grounds of breaking §1 for the duration of BEAST#6.

Sindarin chose to disrespect the administration staff of BEAST on the forums severely as well as insult them aggravated and severely in private conversations and henceforth is banned for BEAST#6 on the grounds of breaking §1.

Arglaxx chose to insult and call the Administration names and biased in a private conversation and therefore is warned for breaking §1. Maturity and Respect also applies to the Administration team.

Argentum insulted and called the administration as biased when the decision was still pending. Harassment and insulting players is forbidden by the rules, this applies as well to the Administration. Argentum henceforth is warned on the grounds of §1 for the upcoming tournament BEAST#6.

Appeal: Sindarin

Sindarin offered an apology and appealed his ban. After due consideration of all the facts presented to the administration, it was decided that the punishment is lowered to two weeks suspension (Week 1, Week 2) and two warnings for the next tournament ( BEAST#7/8 ). Due to the nature of ban appeal, Sindarin is hereby warned for BEAST#6 as well.
