    1st of all, great work guys, it was much worth the effort. Lots of new and nice things to explore.

    now, I have had a couple of CTD's then I reinstalled the game. I use high config but my pc supports it well enough, I get an average 80 fps...

    But the problem is the screen keeps freezing. I mean, the sound goes on in the background, and it happens a sort of looping slow motion, as if the game was jammed... I alt tab and after a minute or so it goes back to normal. Any clue?

    Thanks for the heads up Lavandia, but right now I don't think that's the case. I haven't got a crash on any other game so far.

    Great mod. I really like the models and the interface.

    I am experience plenty of CTD issues though. Can't play for more than 5 minutes straight....
    Not a config issue, I  think. I run vanilla or britenwalda with high settings and a very decent fps (above 40).

    The game "jams" or "stutters" all the time, when I'm in battle. Eventually, I get a framework error (if I'm not mistaken) and crash. =(

    By scene making do you guys mean using the built in scene editor? That doesn't really require any programing skills I think, but I only tried it for multiplayer

    Probably well known here but I'm still in the dark about this sub-mod.

    This submod is a way for Ealabor to keek working on stuff he'll then use on the bigger mod, Hegemony 268 bc. However, as it will be an open beta, it's also an opportunity for community members to try the mod and (eventualy) contribute to its development.

    I'm not sure about multiplayer, though my guess is it's not the priority.

    Trueten I agree with you, but I also must confess I do understand shadowarcher's frustrated efforts. None is wrong in trying to make things better, and well, the main problem I guess is miscomunication and people lacking psychiatrical assistance.

    It is obvious to any observant that this mod is going to rock once it's released, but till then we just have to chill. Ealabor doesn't need people with a whip asking him for updates all the time. Just be patient. Once the mod is released you will definitely know (as I will definitely spam every possible gaming forum with download links, screenshots and whatever)

    The available version of the bod is meant to be applied on Vanilla Mount& Blade (NOT WARBAND) .960.

    So there's no point in trying to install it in Warband.

    You can either try to download the old .960 M&B version, or wait for the mod to be released for Warband.

    My only problem with PL and most other terrain/particle editing mods is the fact that its required to alter the main game files.

    Yeah I really think worrying about cosmetic improvements should be a imediate concearn for the 1st release. I mean, whatever changes is good, but I think this kinda stuff, such as applying PL or not, can be done later once there's a running mod for the comunity. Eventually people will start trying these graphical improvements themselves and sharing it on the forums. Also it's always a good idea to keep this on a user preference basis, meaning whoever wishes to apply this mod will do it and those who don't like it won't be forced to have it.

    I like it a lot. I really hope it does look this good in-game though. No idea if there's any difference once you port it (I guess texture resolution is reduced).

    The only thing I would point out that doesn't please me as much as the rest is the texture in this part here:

    But anyways I don't understand anything about modeling and probably it would look great in-game either way.

    Hold your horses there pal, find a nice big breasted woman that will bring you cold beer and try to get entertained while you wait for the mod to be released.

    Then, all your questions shall be answered in a deeper and most expanded level, so you can base more of those requests.

    now onto the point: I may be wrong here, but I'm guessing why you won't have a macedonian phalanx using overhead spear.

    This is a greek hoplite:

    You see that spear? It's around 2m (6, 7 feet) long.

    This is a  makedonian phalanx formation:

    Now look at the size of that weapon. It has to be held with both hands. Let alone the fact that each soldier carries about 40kg of gear, I dare anyone in this forum to hold, single-handedly, one of those spears in a overhand position for more than 5 minutes.

    According to wikipedia:
    the shields are smaller and lighter than with a traditional hoplite phalanx, the sarissa is twice as long as the traditional spears

    And finaly, the most important lesson on this forum:
    NEVER, EVER, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT pressure modders on granting your wishes. They obviously aprecciate your help and suggestions, but don't get it wrong, you get to ask them to show some things if they have them and if they want to, and if they don't, you don't get emotional asking if they hate you or anything.

    Be patient pal, it will come to us at some point.

    So if you're so anxious for the mod, get on that page, start learning some stuff and do some models, props, whatever. Sometimes coding troop trees is a tedious and slow job, some help may be apreciated.

    Quit whining for a release date and complaining about how long it takes, and instead do some really decent work and help E.

    Or simply stop complaining about how long it's taking and aprecciate what you've got so far.

    Since it seems a bit too blurred it doesn't blend in so well..

    maybe a better definition background image would suffice?

    I'm not sure if that's the problem though. Either way I think it's somewhat a better imersion attempt than native's borders. Nice iniciative.
