Glad you found the fix. I have checked mine multiple times and I have never had a beta on the properties page. I'm going to put in my refund request because it's been a good month since I started trying to play the game.

I was excited to play this game. My brother said good things about the first one. Next game I'm hoping will work for me is Manor Lords but it may be a while until it is released.

My one year old got excited seeing the launcher art for Bannerlord but the game failed to launch again. He's holding it together.

No change. Game still doesn't launch. Patch 1.05355 or something like that.

Same patch and game version for the last few days.

It would be nice if the next patch would include some kind of code that would correctly identify the actual reason the game isn't launched: XYZ file missing; Wrong doo-hickey installed; check your mirrors; random firewall foolishness that should have been fixed with the game's installation; etc. Right now we are all in the dark on this: the game just fails to launch without giving us a reason.

Betas have never been an issue on my end.

Tried launching again while disconnected from internet but that didn't work either.

Other steam games work just like always so this is a Bannerlord issue.

Same issue is continuing. Updated files again and restarted and still no launch of the game.

I'm glad they are working on fixing the issues with the game. Every few days the version changes so I know they're updating things. Hopefully they will figure out how to fix this "not launching" issue.

I just went down the list again, trying to start the game after each item after restarting steam:

1. Verify game files: Done; didn't solve the problem.
2. Delete configs folder: Done; didn't solve the problem.
3. Delete bin folder then re-verify (won't re-verifying put the config folder back?): Done; didn't solve the problem.
4. Delete Launcher Mod: I don't have any mods so this isn't causing the problem.
5. Windows Defender Allow An App: Did this a few days ago; didn't solve the problem.

6. Delete spriteData.xml: this file does not exist in my folders.
7. Delete Logs folder: Done; didn't solve the problem.
8. Try starting the game using the exe launcher files: Tried this the last few days and they never started the game; Tried again today; the Launcher exe opens the launcher but doesn't start the game and the other exes don't start the game either.
9. Delete/Stop Using One Drive: I have never used One Drive.

Gave it another day and another attempted verify and it still doesn't launch the game. Task Manager still says "suspended" as soon as I click Play in the launcher and it attempts to start the game.

How long does steam give you before you can get a refund? It says I've played 32 minutes but I haven't played a single minute as the game has never launched.
