[WNL5] Bans & Suspensions

SULLIVAN


Sullivan joined his team to spectate during the match TKoS v OC in week 1. This is not allowed as per the following rule.

(3) Spectating the match by joining a team after the spawn period is not allowed at any given point. Is a player found spectating by joining a team, documented by footage for example, he will be suspended for one match.

Having considered all the circumstances of this rule breach the administration have confined the punishment to the 1 match ban. However, all teams should note that future breaches of this rule may result in more severe punishments.

CRASHDAY, BENDETTO & KURWA


Crashday

Crashday has been removed from the KURWA roster. Information and evidence as come to light that Crashday was in fact the banned player Arni.

As such he has been removed from the roster and the relevant IDs blacklisted.

Bendetto

Bendetto conspired with Crashday/Arni to produce evidence to convince his own team and the administration that Arni's stolen identity, Crashday, was not used by Arni. Bendetto knowingly helped a banned player to enter the tournament. He then also repeatedly denied knowledge of events.

Bendetto's denial of the events when faced with questions, the prolonged period of the rule-breaking and his assistance in helping a well known banned player participate in the tournament are serious problems. As such Bendetto will be banned for the remainder of Season 5 of the WNL.

KURWA

It has been noted that the rule

Could be applied to in the circumstance that KURWA played an ineligible player in several matches. The administration considers the clan in general to be innocent of knowingly playing an ineligible player and the team were in fact entirely helpful to the administration when investigating the case. As the deception by Bendetto and Arni was to both the team and the tournament administration, KURWA will not face further penalties.

The community should be aware that these sanctions are not to be considered a precedent.  Should anything similar happen in the future stricter sanctions may apply.

RED ICE


Red Ice did not produce a screenshot as requested by the referee in contravention of the following rule.

§ 2 Cheating
(4)When requested by the match referee (at the beginning of the round)players should take a screenshot of their game view.  Players should ensure the screenshot contains the referee message, the scoreboard and buildings/other textures/players and post it on the forum within 30 minutes of the match ending.  Failing to comply with any part of this rule will result in a 1 match ban for that player.

He is therefore banned for the next match.

It is noted that SotaMursu, Nele, CommanderSPQR and Matafiks did not fully comply with the instruction, in this particular case they will not receive the one match ban.  Captains should ensure that all their players are fully conversant with the rule and are able to take appropriate screenshots.
