tbhI wouldn't play that much differently cause of the stats, I find that nearly every class can beat the other in a multitude of ways for a simple fact ... none of the muskets or rifles are 100% accurate, it mainly boils down to bayonete skill, so having the higher stats won't give you a massive conclusive edge over anyone.

WHy the hell does guards have more stats than a normal infantry unit. Thats completely unbalanced, you should balance it out somehow like the infantry has more HP or better firearms accuracy. Sure its not AS realistic but its a game and it needs to be balanced or all other units will whore to get the guards stats.

EDIT: Guards and Grenadiers were handpicked for their size. So make grenadiers higher powerstrike and more hp but less accuracy. Give lineinfantry a boost in accuracy then its compensated out.

I agree with Anton about British unit stats. I disagree with him about French, and I'm indifferent about Prussian as I don't know well enough about the subject. Why?

As far as I know, Highlanders are very popular and supposedly called "devils in kilts". So I think they should get the higher stats.

As for the French: history suggests that Old Guards were skilled and experienced soldiers. They were sent into battle to raise the army's morale. Who could get the higher stats other than them?!
