Pistol Sounds?

For some reason, when I join a server the pistol sounds seem to work fine, but when I try hosting, either from the in-game menu or with a dedicated server my pistols don't seem to make any firing sounds? Anyone know why this might be? Thanks.

When you're the server, you can't hear sounds.

The pistol sounds are played using a script, none of the others are.

Try hosting a dedicated one.

Actually, most likely a easy fix.

I guess he has the loop for sending the sound to everyone like this.
(try_for_range, ":player", 1, ":maximum_players"),

But that will exclude the server.
(try_for_range, ":player", 0, ":maximum_players"),

Can anyone tell me how to fix the pistol sounds?

I play against bots and it just ain't right not having that "bang" to go with the blood. I mean, if we're inside or somewhere quiet, I can hear a gentle "thup" as the pistol ball slides at incredible speeds into my opponents brain but a bang would be better.

I can't seem to fix it by poking around the various mod tools so... help?
