Sorry to everyone for the lack of updates when it comes to Thrace/Illyria/Iberia recently, I've kinda been slacking off thanks to the amazing weather that we're getting here (for once) But it they should have their settlements added to the map soon.
Also, and this is both an announcement to the community and to Dion, I think that in the future I can take on other roles too. Since I'm going part time at university I'm going to have a LOT more free time on my hands to learn how to do stuff to help with the mod. Tried modelling a while back and gave up on it, but might have another crack at it. Who knows!
Ok, I just showed Iberia.... and now not to slow down. here is Ilyria!, not fully done yet!, but mostly though*. note that the greek hoplon shield is a place holder, and so are some names.
again, I am very sorry for the poor quality of the screenshots.
Wasn't Egypt known as the Ptolemaic Kingdom which was formed by Ptolemy I Sorter who served in Alexander the Great's Campaigns. If I remember right The Ptolemaic Kingdom adopted the Macedonian military doctrine meaning that the Phalanx formation formed the backbone of their military. Though they used Greeks and Native Egyptians in their military, do keep in mind that when making the Egyptian troop roster that the Ptolemy's lands were very wealthy so they employed many mercenaries from; Ethiopians to Galatians, Mysians and even Jews. Hope this helps
The Vast steppe of the east home to many, Including the Sarmatians, very similar to thier southern brothers, where others walk, they ride. with hordes of horses, made up from heavy cavalry, and skilled horse archers, no foe can hope to defeat hese fierce warriors, but there is another odd thing about these people, thier women, ride wit them, with them in to battle! they are just as fierce as thier men!
Preparing to kill the Gallic raiders!
Oh, she is ready allright!
Bring it!
oh, we should maybe have kept on riding rather then let spearmen kill us... darn our bravery!
Lving in the north of dacia and west of scythia, these tribes, live both on the steppe, and the plains.
Awesome! I spot new horsies or does my eye lie to me?
Although I see that Romae Bellum still haven't got much to declare in Department of Helmets. Wouldn't be that much of a problem if M&B wouldn't have head-seeking arrows and javelins
yeah, and my moddeling skills for now, remain to swords, which I still can't texture or scale, practise is required
need to install blender and stuff on this computer again, to also model/practise moddeling again.
horses, there might be some(we did add some), but it could also be that now, I play on better graphics it looks better.
