I need help on doing this quest.

I'm playing the story mode and I have a quest to capture this town and hold it for 20 days, I don't have enough men, so I went to my fellow lords and told them to go and besiege it, but they always end up leaving it though. Any suggestions on how to capture this town?

Hi King David,

The purpose of the quest is to encourage the player to gather a big enough army to fight in later battles.
I advice you to do that, grow, have a big army to hold the fief and then you will be able to continue.

Story mode is quite guided, not try to bypass any mission in an odd way or you will screw your experience.
