I joined the Swadians to help fight off the Rhodhoks and Nords. I fought dozens of battles, imprisoned at least seven lords, took over four castles, defeated both kings in both nations, and what does the King of my army do? Jack ****.

I hate my king too..  Why oh why don't he declare war to everyone..  Our only enemy is pretty much k.o. (the swadian) and he don't do anything about it.

Talk to the lords of your faction, they will occasionally give a quest to start a war.

The answer is simple... We must start a rebellion. That will at least ensure you cross swords with your former liege and your most hated nobles.
