Game crashing when I face Masterless (insert name cause I forgot and I'm new)

So yeah, I just won in a tourney and bought something from a mystic merchant. Now, wanting to test out my new gear, I went off to fight some masterless whatevers (deserters basically) but it keeps crashing no matter what I do. Is there a bug or a fix I don't know about?

Is the hotfix required?
I downloaded and installed the hotfix but still no change.

Ok so I messed around with my character's inventory, and found out that my horse made the game crash. If I unequip the horse, it no longer crashes
 
I don't believe anyone has provided support for the main game in years. Idibil?

Anyways, I can fix this if you give me the exact name of the horse that caused the problem.
I haven't had this issue before but haven't tried all the horses.

Many items from him seem to cause crashes over the past 6 months.
VC is great. When are we going to get the Heathen invasion of Northumbria?
Until then, I'm going to focus on this mod.

Have never seen crashes caused by his items. I use his service very often.
