It seems that half of the Frankish horsemen are classified as Infantry in my party, even though I have repeatedly set them to "Cavalry" class within the Army management panel. I even tried to dismiss some of them and replace them with new ones, but the problem persisted (!)
This means that, in combat, half of them follow infantry orders and formations rather than the Cav ones. The Aquitanian Skirmishers and my Heroes/Companions who also have a horse do not have this issue, and listen to my orders as usual.
Intriguingly, this issue appeared after I updated to 1.01 beta, and has now continued into 1.02 beta. Hopefully it's just a wonky line of codeor something minor, so I hope that the devs can fix this. If necessary, Ill upload a couple of screenshots to exhibit exactly what's going on.
