shows us your DLC level module, developed by you or your company, to prove that 90% claim. Unless you are just talking about something that you actually know nothing about.
btw unless you are new around this parts all those "copies" have released both assets and source code, so anyone with a little modding know-how can see how they were made and if you are right or not
what are you trying to say? the dlc's were originaly mods from the modding community. and in the end there wasnt much change from the mods and the dlc's. yes i am a consumer, not a modder. i just look at the end product. i dont know how to mod or develop a game but, i see modding communities and patreon game devloper getting shi.t done. and i see the work of taleworlds. and what i see concerns me. they are grinding a huuuge amount of funding from the turkish goverment every year. they HAVE the resources to get **** done. and if not bring it out on early access. let us help you gather resources. but they would never do something like that. because an update would come out every 6 months and the content of the update would be low to none.

The point is that without TW's development you have no mods. Most modders are also not developers, and are only able to do what they do by playing around with TW's code, tweaking a bit here and there to see if it works. Sure, a few have actual experience, but even then they have to work around the mess that is WB's code, which definitely takes some getting used to. This time around TW's is using C#, an actual language vs. the cobbled together one they used in WB, and has created their own engine to optimize the way BL will run, rather than using some 3rd party engine that may or may not do what they want/need it to do. Will this take some time to get it right, pared down, and clean enough for all the "mod friendliness" they've been talking about? Yes. However, as long as they deliver on their promise, I have no problem waiting a few extra years for them to do it right.
Based on your talking about an early access game, I would guess you weren't aware that the original M&B
was early access, and Armagan himself said in an interview that he was embarrassed by having to release a game in e.a., but didn't have the money to continue development without doing so. This time around they've got the money, they've got the programmers, and they've got plenty of consumers chomping at the bit, so Armagan and his team are doing everything they can to get it right on the first go-around. Sure, there will be bugs that need patching, and people will complain about this and that, but they want to get it as close as possible before release, and I get that (as long as they keep some end date/goal in sight).
If modders are so much better at making games then TW's is, why haven't we seen a BL clone released? Since we've all been waiting for it now, it would make a hell of a lot of sense for someone to try to release before TW's and steal the consumer base. There have been a few attempts at
similar games, admittedly none of which I've played, and some mods have been able to rig BL features into WB mods, but the fact remains that without TW's baseline, modders will not be able to put out the same level of product.
