Best Knighthood Cavalry?

Their setup is standard I think. Lance, sword, shield and throwing spears. Very nice combination.

Shadow Legion are awesome but for Pendor king it's always better to choose Pendor culture for Pendor noble recruits that can be level up to very different orders... And imho it's better to have in army a main shock force as the KotD, support and defence from the KotEG and skirmish skills and cover of the RotCC... with good addition of other elite units...

That is basicaly my setup as a King of pendor, swapping Dawn for Eventide [with lances of course]. Dawn like to burn things too much for my tastes.

I used clarion call mainly my first run through, the great range of options they give you in one unit type made me use them early game. They are best in my opinoin at start where ur out of gems, out of money or out of castles/towns. Once you have more plentiful resources they get put in the backseat so the more specialised knight orders can fulfil specific tasks.

Also because i took Laria, and thier patrols have Noldor Warriors in them, wich keep the pesky peasants in check. (providing ur friendly with Noldor, i think)

In what way do you think KotD are reformed?

Well Roland would reform the Dawn, removing most of their nasty habits of burning stuff and setting them on the right path again. But that is only if you want to rp it. Certainly better than wasting the time to resolve relations with the eventide.

Gaining relations with Eventide is worth it just for the head gear.

I went to cheatmenu, just to see how does the helm suits me, and I must admit. Head dominates the body now. My char looks like a lollipop!
Forget it. Horned full helm is awesome ( the one with small white bull horns, not black devilish).

Hmm, I have Roland as Lord. Does that count?

For Pendor Knights Dawn, Eventide, and Griffon are the strongest.
Profiencies:
Dawn, Eventide
Griffon lower by 20.

Skills:
Dawn, Griffon
Eventide falls lower in every combat skill.

Equipment:
Dawn - Heavy Horses, lances, swords
Eventide - Less heavy horses than other two, some lances, warhammers, two hand morningstars, swords. Built as Knight killers.
Griffon - Heavy Horses, lances, swords, some two hand morningstars.

Radiant Cross, Falcon, and Clarion call are a bit faster but all less durable. Clarion Call have the luxury of bows making them able to harass and break up enemy formations.
