Backspace Tactical Map Bug

When this pops up now, instead of it being a clear screen, it's a solid screen that I can't view through. To make matters worse, I can't backspace to remove it anymore. Makes using the tactical map through battle impossible, the only way to do so is to press escape, which ruins the immersion and speed which gives it in-battle practicality. How do I fix this?

You can upgrade to version 2.55 where this was fixed, but the new version is not save compatible with 2.54 or earlier versions.

Downloaded expanded 2.55, unrared it, and inside there was a folder called "expanded 2.54". I tested it, and the backspace bug is still present. I also tested gameplay 2.55, and noted that unlike in the expanded 2.54, the arrow damages have changed; I'm under the impression that the expanded 2.55 has been falsely packaged with an outdated version, can I please have help with this?

No, the expanded version name just wasn't updated when it was packaged.  It's actually 2.55.  The backspace issue shouldn't still exist though which is odd.

The 2.55 game isn't save compatible with 2.54 games and that was partly because the copy of 2.54 I had wasn't the same as the one that Monnikje released so some of the item changes were different.

Confirmed that the backspace bug isn't there anymore, I must have done something wrong. It's very confusing to falsely advertise the version number, if anyone could change it that'd be great. Thanks for the help.

It's not really false advertising. The folder name is wrong but the game version and the version listed in the downloads page are the same: 2.55. It's just a small typo in the folder name and it doesn't affect gameplay at all.
