Prophesy of Pendor developers have been slippery with this one; I only see four mentions of it ever on the forums, and none since their kickstarter was launched. Starium XCV has a number of friendly faces as well as some new I think who haven't been involved in PoP. If you're on these forums and you haven't played PoP, you have yet to experience the best Warband has to offer. Starium XCV is a MMO space exploration long-form strategy game. From what I've seen, you choose a few moves to make without demanding commitments to play 24/7 or lose the edge. Each player starts as a colony that gets cut off from their home planet. This means colonies with the same species can have completely different cultures of their own when they meet again. There is some grand mission that each player colony is drawn into, which I speculate will be facing off a yet-to-be-revealed galactic threat.
If any game developer deserves our love (money) for a kickstarter campaign, it's the guys who gave us endless hours of fun with Prophesy of Pendor.
