Looks good.

However will the Pikeman ingame have some sort of spearwall ability to keep enemies at bay? If so perhaps their shields could be made attached to the model and just boost body armor and have the Sarissa two handed.
 
Well it's the same animation as the native polearm. The only thing which appears to be different here is that they are in a formation, which really doesn't offer anything different apart from what other formation scripts offer.
 
If you say it's the same animation for native polearm,i have to massively disagree with you.Look at these pictures i took ingame on the server...

This new animation looks WAY to better than the native one's.And suits this time period (268.B.C.) and phalangites.

As for formation,i say it can be added by those formation scripts.But i suggest that you shall use this animation for phalangites.
Some of my friends on steam who also patiently follow this development are satisfied with the new animation and also suggest for it's using for phalangites,and say that it suits the Macedonian phalangites(tenerife_boy).I agree!

So look at the video and at my pictures,and notice the difference.


Imagine the shields tied on the left hand and around the neck,if you know what i mean.
 
I suggest making the shield of the Phalangite on the model. So its looks like he has a shield but it holds no practical purpose. It would mean he needs an armour buff. But it would look more realistic I gues. And with a possible Spearwall ability it might work out just great.

Is it possible to make a system which keeps enemies away when you keep a button pressed? Its how I figure a Spearwall would work, it could even damage enemies which don't block if they touch it. Not sure if such a system is in place. It should mean that enemies can't just run through a pike formation.

Everything is right.I pray to ealabor to use this.It would speed up the valuable time and progress.
I hope for positive answer...
