Tasked with guarding the fortress of Teragul the East Guards were the most fearsome company in all of the Calradian Empire. The strong influence that was growing with their name became a fearsome factor for an Empire already on the brink of civil war. On a cool summer night in the year 1002 the West Guards were attacked by hordes of Khuzait raiders. The Guards took to their battle stations and began the fiercest battle to ever touch the lands of Calradia, though it would never be known. Messenger after messenger was sent from the Guard's lines for reinforcements but no response was ever returned. The Guards were left to face the onslaught of steppe hordes and pray that their heavy experience would let them survive yet another battle. After three days of fighting with the fortress of Teragul reduced to ruins, the fighting stopped. On the field of battle lay thousands of dead Khuzait raiders and the ranks of the Guard were stripped down from hundreds to a mere 48 men. A letter was found on the Khuzait commander detailing how they were supposed to crush the fortress and everyone inside, with the word of the battle never being known. A strong political movement found that the Guards would be too powerful should a civil war break out and they needed to be utterly destroyed. However, no one counted on the company of veterans to survive the battle and their vengeance to be so powerful. Leaving their titles as Guardians of the Empire behind they now roam the lands of Calradia as phantoms purging the tyrannical Empire lords in the dark. Only one record of their existence has been found to this day, a note left in the mouth of a beheaded Empire lord stating a sinister resolve. "In the final hour of the Empire, we shall return for vengeance. What you thought you had lost will return to see your end." - Thus these phantoms of the dark became known as the Lost Guards. |

| Coming from Mount and Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars, the Lost Guards were previously known as the Nr.8 Leib-Grenadiers Regiment. In our time in Napoleonic Wars (NW) we were the dominant North American Regiment for the greater part of three years winning four league titles (NANWL S7, S9, NAPL S3, IRL) and boasting an impressive competitive record of 168 Wins, 5 Draws, and 33 Losses. Moving into Bannerlord the LG is set on keeping a similar name and chose to be the Lost Guards so to keep our acronym as the LG. In Bannerlord the LG strives to not only be one of the largest clans, but also one of the best. We always look for greatness and will never stop trying to improve.
