Rules

Tournament Format

  • All duels must be played on the "DR DUEL" or "EUROPEAN DUEL TOURNAMENT SERVER" server hosted by Gotha. You have the option to play the conventional duel mode on other servers (provided both players agree).
  • Duels will be played using only one hand (no shield).
  • You must only take a one-handed sword. You have the choice between the 6 swords you can find in this image! It's up to you to choose the best one

  • You have the option to change your sword during the FT7 only at the beginning of each round, not once the fight has already begun
  • Duels will be only FT7 like this :
Take your sword and strike the anvil. It will be pre-set to FT7.

Then request the duel after striking the anvil.

  • the tournament will be a knockout stage with a loser's bracket.
(If you play on another server):
  • The only playable faction is Vlandia.
  • The only playable class is Sergeant with "improved armor" and "melee expert".
If any of the rules are not followed, then the results will not be accepted

Conduct and Respect

  • To maintain a professional and serious atmosphere, players must conduct themselves with respect and politeness towards their opponents, tournament administrators, and all other participants. Any player found exhibiting poor behavior or immaturity may face punishment by the tournament administration. The severity of the penalty ranges from a warning to a ban from the tournament, depending on the severity of the offense.
  • Any player that disrupts the duel or organization of other duel will be subject to disciplinary action at the administration’s discretion, which may result in disqualification from the tournament.
  • players who knowingly assist players in circumventing the sanctions imposed by the administration will be removed from the tournament.
  • The use of modified game files or any type of modification, such as aimbots or autoblock, is strictly prohibited. Any player who has used modified files or game modifications will face disciplinary measures at the discretion of the administration, including a possible ban on the tournament.
During a duel, if a player is caught cheating, he will be disqualified.
All these rules also apply on the tournament's Discord server. Any ban from the Discord may result in disqualification from the tournament.

Scheduling

  • If you have trouble scheduling a match with a opponent please let an admin know.
  • Any duel scheduled on Discord in the #scheduling channel will be considered official, which means that if one of the players is not present, their opponent can claim victory
  • Players have a one-week period to complete their assigned match. It is expected that both players add each other on Steam and regularly check their Taleworlds private messages to arrange a mutually agreeable time for the match. If there is evidence that a player is unresponsive and fails to initiate the duel within the given week, that player will be automatically disqualified from the tournament.
  • If neither player attempts to duel their opponent or contacts an administrator to request an extension, both players will be disqualified. In such cases, the player assigned to face the winner in the next round advance to the next round without having to play a match. The administrator will make the final decision on who advances based on the evidence provided regarding any dodging behavior.
  • It is advisable to take evidence of the progress of the duel in case the server crashes or one of the players crashes, in order to resume the duel from where it left off (if the opposing player attempts to redo the duel).
