I had a ctd after logging into the duel server. After trying to restart I had an error saying "incorrect client state" and couldn’t log in. I verified my cache and 2 files were reacquired.

Now I get a battleye error that is blocking a file from C:\windows\assembly. Says mscorlib.ni.dll.

I reinstalled .NET core and still get the same error message.

Wat do

I tried reinstalling battleye. It logs me into duel servers and skirmish but it's locked in spec mode. Skirmish and duel kicked me for anti-cheat. TDM works fine. Sometimes I still get client state error during login. Battleye error list has grown:

Do I dump this machine and my router in the trash or what?

is there anyone who can help a noob with this? there is nothing about my system or setup that changed which would explain why this would start happening all of a sudden...

Hi, please control the checklist below. If the issue still continues after that, please share your Steam profile so the developers can check server logs.

*Make sure Windows is up to date.
*Check if the dependencies here are all installed: https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?threads/installing-missing-necessary-dependencies.407126/
*Reinstall BattlEye as told here: https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?threads/frequently-encountered-server-issues.421515/

I miswrote, I had reinstalled the .net framework. Battleye issues have gone away after I installed the .net core, I simply forgot to reinstall it when reinstalling the .net stuff. Still doesn't explain the first go around when mscorlib started being blocked by battleye. I also ran sfc /scannow and it fixed a few files, I couldn't look at the log to see which ones they were.

Steam is https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197991785326/ if you could have them look at the logs just in case. I had the ctd report come up and decided not to turn it in due to impatience, looking back I really should have.

Hi, the developers have checked the logs. It seems the problem originated from the Windows updates. They have informed me that this can be fixed by restarting the PC and letting the updates finish. If that doesn't solve the issue, reinstalling the necessary dependencies fixes it.
Please check and update me if the problem is fixed.

There were no updates to install. But there were some issues which had Microsoft requesting me to send info to them regarding some of the blocked files. Totally new and it’s never happened to me before. At any rate, I reinstalled the dependencies and I don’t get battleye errors anymore. Thank you for your attention, you may mark this one solved.
