Need More Info Crashes immediately - from Game Pass, version is 1.2.7

I am playing from Game Pass for PC, the game constantly crashes on launch, it managed to start a few times in safe mode and I've played for a few hours but cannot get it to start again, crashes with safe mode as well.
I don't think GamePass has the latest version either, the launcher has a link to 1.2.9 but the version is 1.2.7.31207, cannot update from Gamepass as it is showing this is the latest already.

I tried fix and repair from game pass, same thing happens.

I already shared the crash dumps, there were several.
