    My best guess is that this is hardcoded in the game metrics. (at least that is what I understood from Serdar's answer to a bug report I made some 6 months ago).

    I will download your Ranger Company right now. Anyway, I half solved this problem by making a trigger and reacting to player pressing  F11, from there I simulate an encounter and go into my own "Member Talk" menus and presentation,  thus bypassing the "party_window".

    Nope, it won't. It is a memory leak (even thought some devs say there are no memory leaks) as everytime you reload module data warband uses more ram and video ram.

    If you don't beleive, do this, and watch your memory ussage. You can also use process explorer and the numbers get worst. (do and wait, no memory gets collected back).
    Start game
    34,940 Before loading module
    664, 216 After loading module

    Don't load a game, just do Ctl+M several times (if you load a game you will crash faster)

    775,872 1st Module data restored
    874,020 2 Module data restored
    972,108 3 Module data restored
    1,068,844 4 Module data restored
    1,167,896 5 Module data restored
    1,266,144 etc. until the game crashes

    If you want to monitor video memory, you will need other tools.

    Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the "detach first" solution is cumbersome at best.
    Next steps show what I mean, just to do a member_exchange with an attached party.

    open party_window -> open member_talk -> select NPC -> click talk  -> select detach option (put some flag so next encounter works as expected) -> close member_talk -> close party_window -> travel to detached party (even placing it at 0 distance needs a travel) -> do party encounter -> select exchange members option -> do member exchange -> close encounter -> do a re encounter -> either reattach party -or give party a mission. -> close encounter

    If there was a way to close "hardcoded screens"  from the member_talk (conversation screen) while party_window is opened you could do -> give mission to NPC -> do member exchange ->  -close and return to map (NPC goes his way an you go your own way) . or better yet, if start_presentation -> return to "member_talk conversation screen" worked while party_window is opened, you could do countless things, thus greatly expanding game dialogs.

    I posted a suggestion to the devs, I just hope it does not go into limbo.

    Problem with change_screen_exchange_members during member talk

    I also have the exact same problem.
    I desperately need this for my own mod as it includes inviting parties into my own party, so far all my dialogs work fine, except the dammed (change_screen_exchange_members,0, "$g_talk_troop_party") .

    I have tried everything I know, and almost every game operation command to get out of that screen.

    "change_screen_exchange_members" only works if called from the world map or when there is an actual party encounter ending with a nice return, if it's called from another screen (where there is no actual encounter), like the "party screen" it will go into exchange, but it won't go back to calling screen,


    Like you, if anybody has a solution for this, please HELP.

    Attacking patrols from other NPC players towns or villages does not cause a relation drop.

    It should cause a relation drop with either or all of the Town, Village, Lord or Kingdom faction.

    As I said, moving the court via wife is not possible you have to use the menu entry. Maybe I should deactivate the option for kings.

    Waihti. I have been working on many Wife's dialogs and moving court via wife might be possible, using a modified "establish_court" menu. (it is still a work in progress thought).

    Another 2 Bug Reports: Diplomacy version 3.0

    Wife troop/party can be duplicated if you ask Wife to go buy bread when at Castle/Town and then find her again in the field and ask again to buy bread.
    This happens because option to buy bread is still allowed in her dialogs while she is going to a center to buy bread.

    Anyway, the second bug is after wife bought the bread and is travelling back to Player center or Court, it usually allways says "Travelling to {!} collective ally.", she travels for a while and then disappears. Then she respawns at Player center or Court.

    Bug Report: Diplomacy version 3.0

    1.- 1 or 2 game days ago, I asked my Chancellor at Hallmar to send a gift to a Lady (velvet)
    2.- Went to Tulga and got an "Escort Caravan Quest" from the Guild Master

    3.- The moment I talk to the Merchant Caravan Master I get this error:
    SCRIPT ERROR ON OPCODE 541: Invalid Party ID: 940; LINE NO: 0:
    At dialog condition: dlga_start:dplmc_gift_talk.
    At dialog condition: dlga_start:dplmc_gift_talk.

    4.- The rest of the dialogs for the Merchant Caravan are fine.

    Apparently Native Game Caravans are being mixed with Diplomacy Gift Caravans.
    (as this dialog seems to be specific for Diplomacy Gift Caravans, not Regular Game Caravans)

    If this is happenning with 1.126 or 1.131 you should post it as a bug report to BugTracker.NET and upload a savegame (zip or rar it)

    If you know how to work with Python, You can add this (see spoiler) to module_game_menus.py of the desired module python source and compile.
    (of course, If You know Python, you can put this in your own menu or anywhere you like)

    Option will be in "Camp" -> "Take an action Menu", and You can freely Enable or Disable Interactions while playing.

    Suggestions

    How about scaling the number of prisoners your party can carry according to Prisoner management Skill, up to 200 max when skill is 10.
