  1. Ransom broker, ransom companion option

    This is the tavern ransom broker, says he can ransom your companions if they are captured. But even when they are in a town dungeon, it doesn't give an option and so you have to wait for them to escape or be released in a peace deal.
    I had the same thought about him. Never got it to work either.
    If wars lasted longer, or say if some nobles stayed captive during peace to ensure peace.
    Since they never stay captive then a few days people just dont need the function.
  2. New Strategies for a more difficult game

    Current i have 2 workshops. Both give 300 each. Don´t seem to go higher. Every now and then i travel the map and buy grapes and olives to stock them up. Not sure if it breakes even.
    Find caravans to be alot better. But more risk. They usually give over 1000 each once the caravaner is leveled enough.

    Are you using mods to buff the bandits? Do you upgrade your troops?
    I think you miss out on formations. and the golden f3-f1 for archers. Use shield wall and never chase cavalry. They will come close sooner or later. If you for example is faced with cavalry and have low tier troops. Use f2-f5 to form a square formation. Very few cavalry survive long rushing into that.
    5 looters is enough to kick any knights ass.
  3. Siege battles are weirdly bad for the defender

    I rarely lose as a defender. Just use the catapults on masses of enemies and they retreat and I win, taking hundreds of prisoners and 10-20 lords..
    Try it with RBM and you will loose more :grin:
    I can´t remember when i last got to try and defend a settlement where i had atleast a chance of winning.
  4. I think making money in Bannerlord is too easy

    My problems with money are mainly due to me having expensive tastes. I like spending it, and boy does this game give you the opportunity to spend it all.

    Between spending 4 to11 million to peaceably take a town, 1 to 2 million for a castle, and at least half a million to bribe a lord to join my kingdom... My last play through I never felt like I had enough money and when I finished and I had less than a million in cash.

    If you use caravans and workshops to build that fortune i understand your frustration. Me as a smasher I find that fun. I find it abit annoying one need to travel to 5 towns after one battle to sell the loot. Those towns where the shop keepers have 100k is rare after some ingame years.
  5. I think making money in Bannerlord is too easy

    People who have problems with money in this game can´t be using rougery for loot and buy all the equipment.

    In the first start it can however be a little challange with money. Especially if one gets a few defeats against looters. And one don´t find any looters to attack after.

    I do find the medicine to be a worse problems. Needs to be nerfed like 90%.
  6. Patch

    Would be lovely if you could fix the third party losing command of battles. Like caravan quests and siege battles. Very annoying that garrison and militia makes you loose command.
  7. Please remove Khuzait and Vlandia

    Have you considered gathering several towns for yourself and then betraying them? I do not know if this is as doable in Bannerlord as it was in Warband, I have not yet tried it.
    Only way i play the game. On my first play over a year ago the king died and i was chosen as new king. Became so disapointed i started a new game.
  8. Recruits and Looters

    Steward perks practically function as a way to get them gear by discarding gear and getting XP in return.

    My impression is that the perks don´t have a focus. One should have the option to either buff low tier or high tier. Now it seems random or everyone gets a few each.
  9. Need More Info The Battle Terrains do not match the worldmap location in 1.2.8 (Edit: still in 1.2.9).

    Very annoying bug. Impossible to plan a battle as one never knows where one fight.
  10. Castle Food Problem

    Cancel the building projects.
    Reduce the garisson will help. Remove the garisson will give you 1.08 plus in food.
    Check the two villages if they need som quests done.

    Or use a mod. Donate to granary.

    It was resolved once.
    Maybe the patch just hasent come out yet.

    Why not create new clans from your companions?

  14. Caravan Cost 5K in a turn - WTF

    If they have just had a fight it´s also recruits. Caravan escorts are not cheap.
    If your using mods it´s also that the party grows with new recruits.
  15. How to Command a Siege Defense

    My experience says it´s random. But it can also be that third party fix that annoys people. Say there is a carvan in town. Or garrison is one party, militia is another that makes you the third party.
    Most likely it´s the third party rule that messes things up.
  16. SP - General Are you sure you want to leave the loot?

    It would be nice with an update.
    Like "are you sure you want to leave it for the troops?". Moral boost (when the moral start to make a real difference).
    Or the nearby village could use a dontation.

    So persuasion isn't about your charm skill, or personality traits, or theirs, or your "luck"... it's purely about the roll you received before you even began the conversation.
    Charm skill does matter. Atleast for marriages. Done it way to many times to know i need to grind up charm to 75-100 before even trying on the lady.
    But traits don´t really work. Does not matter what trait the lady has one just need to aim on the highest % Even if it´s against her traits.
  18. Major issues that remain unaddressed in 1.2.5

    I think one thing is missing.
    A main quest that adds no difference from sandbox in mid/end game. There should be a difference. The banner should do something.
  19. Need mod

    In vanilla Bannerlord, no daughter is mad or infertile. Are you saying that should be added to the game? That is added complexity, what do you gain from that? Other than not getting a popup marriage proposals.
    Well there has to be a reason why not to marry of a daughter. Infertile is for sure one. Maybe the girl had an accident as a child.
    Or one could connect mad with the cruel trait. Because the trait system needs huge work anyway. To me it is what needs to arrive with beta 1.3. It matters more to me in the game then all of the diplomacy functions that are half done.
  20. Need mod

    The constant marriage offer popups can be annoying. I think I saw a mod that lets you marry off your daughter and keep her and her hubby in your clan.
    Yes. But that mod also removes the purpose of daughters in the game. To marry off into clans you wish to recruit for you kingdom. So the option to keep a daughter because she is infertile or plain mad is kinda missing.
