Was able to reproduce it, i got save right before it happened (seems to happen about 1 in every 40 or so times i take the quest). I tagged the link to the forum as the description name of the save is Nidr.sav at the upload link you provided.



It is to note that if nothing is done and you just wait from the save i sent, the merchants kill the raiders and it fails the quest stating that the caravan was destroyed.

Unfortunately i had continued to play on that profile and didn't think to create a second save before it had occurred... Trying to get it to reoccur it doesn't seem to want to happen (it had happened twice and now it doesn't want to). I'm uploading the current save, but i want to get a save immediately before it occurs rather then just a save where it had occurred (odd thing i noticed is when the bug occured the merchants soldiers charged rather then holding position).

I have 21 agility and 10 athletics and i'm still being out ran by the farmers and tier 1 units in my group is there something i'm doing wrong?
Encumbrance of 7, tried lowering it, still didn't speed me up.
Changed the tactical and movement speeds in the options and that changed very little.
I'm wearing robes and light armor, nothing that restricts the agi, or athletics skills.
