Hello,
I've bought the game on Steam today and spent a lot of time trying to get it working. It just doesn't start.
I've watched it on twitch yesterday and it worked just fine. I loved all M&B games so I bought it today .
I didn't expect I won't be able to launch the game or even the game launcher.
I've read a bunch of guides about 'fixing' the game and followed all the steps listed there.
I never had such issues with any game before. Any other Steam game I have is working just fine.
So, step by step that's what happens:
1. I click the green play button on Steam:

2. It turns into a blue stop button and mouse cursor changes to medieval arrow:

3. After a few seconds it turn back to green and mouse cursor goes back to white:

4. That's it. No error logs, no crash logs, nothing. It just doesn't start.
Now, here's a list of 'fixes' I've already done:
1. Updated Windows 10. (as per Callum post on Steam)
2. Updated Nvidia drivers.
3. Updated Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015. (as per Callum post on Steam)
4. Updated .net Core. (as per Callum post on Steam)
5. Updated .net FrameWork (as per Callum post on Steam)
6. Updated Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017 (I think this one was the same as step 3, 2015, 2017 and 2019 in 1 install) (as per Callum post on Steam)
7. Turned on and off windows defender. I don't have any external anti-virus software installed. (as per Callum post on Steam)
8. Verified file integrity on Steam.
9. I even did "sfc /scannow" via windows command line. It scanned my system and said everything is fine.
10. During the above I restarted my PC more times that I could count.
Finally I tried to launch the game directly from .exe files, and here's some little progress I made:
1. When clicking "TaleWorlds.MountAndBlade.Launcher.exe" it's the same as Play button on Steam. Nothing happens.
2. When clicking "Bannerlord.exe" or "Bannerlord.Native.exe" or "Bannerlord_BE.exe" I get a white screen with medieval arrow for about 5-10 seconds (
PICTURE 4) then it goes to a viking background with some moving horse icon for 5-20 seconds (
PICTURE 5) and then I get a crash error:
PICTURE 6. However, when I click "yes" for uploading the crash files, I get another error:

Funnily enough, it counts time spent in that "crash uploader program" as time spent in game on Steam. So I have a whopping 13 minutes played, even I didn't manage to launch this game even once.
As I said earlier, I've never had such problems with a Steam game before and I did a fair share of Early Access games, like Rust, Tarkov or DayZ. Those games had a lot of glitches, errors, crashes and bugs but I could at least start them. It's the first time I've spent 45 EUR (living in a country with a minimum monthly wage of about 500 EUR and not earning anything right now due to Corona virus) for a product that simply doesn't work.
I understand some parts of this post might be consider ranting. I try to not get emotional about it. I loved previous M&B games. But it is really disheartening to spend all that money and not be even able to start the freaking game.
Gif of how it looks for me (not mine but same issue):
GAME DOESN'T START
Additional info:
Windows 10 version 1909 (18363.752)
All mentioned software updated to latest version.
Specs: Nvidia GTX 970, I5-2500K, 16gb ram, AsRock P67 Pro3, SSD, Windows 10.
Please help! I know there are many other issues but this one is really
CRITICAL.
I would love to experience all the bugs others are complaining about but the game just doesn't start.
