I want to share with y'all a story concerning this screenshot:

I created an Italian Character named Gioacchino de'Finni. After doing the initial quest, I went to Milan and I enlisted in the army. I wanted to start as a line infantry this time. So, I went to the military depot and I bought my uniform... but cartridges costed like 408 francs. Thus, I had a musket with no ammo, being a musketmen myself. I decided to do quests for money, so I spoke to the Milan Guild Master. He gave me a quest I really could not refuse:
I had to escort a herd of cattle from Milan down to Naples, and he would've gave me 328 francs. Knowing that every good modder fixes first and foremost the cattle behavior, I accepted it. I recruited 6 line infantry recruits in Milan, and started making my way to Naples. Everything was fine, then we reached Umbria (for those who don't know our geography, it's where the Tiber starts) and I saw a band of 8 highwaymen heading towards me and the cattle. Now, roleplaying a bit, I thought that they were there to steal the cattle, hence I bravely attacked them. The battle ended with one of my recruits being knocked unconcious (remember that), and with me finally getting a musket and ammos. I was almost in Latium, then a band of 15 Highwaymen was spotted. With only 5 able men, I engaged them to save the 82 cows I was herding. The battle was fierce and ended with the death of 2 recruits. The screenshot is about my last stand against those f*ckboys. I finally reached Naples, I sold the loot, and made my way back to Milan to get the pay. But then, at the height of Montecassino 10 Neapolitan Militiamen, who deserted the army, attacked us. I only had 3 militias there. And so the battle started. I spared my ammos as long as long as I could, and with Italic bravery (lol) I surrounded the enemy lines and shot at them meanwhile my militias valiantly held the hill. In the end, the deserters charged my troops. I bravely charged the enemy behind their back knocking them with my hunting musket, meanwhile though my miltias were fighting to the death. In the end, they were 1v1, but the deserter treacherously stabbedd him with his bayonet, hence my last soldier died. In a fit of rage, with Italic fierceness, Gioacchino de'Finni charged the deserter and killed him, and the battle was over. I finally made my way north, and I was paid. 7 Milanese went to Naples. Only 2 of them returned, one of them unfit for battle (my recruit lol).

Nice story... Its been a while since I read the role playing adventures in this MOD... kinda missing them a lot

    L'Aigle Development Log Thing.

I'm very excited for this update, then. I'm playing L'Aigle as I write this, actually. There is one thing I forgot to mention, and all of what I suggest is exactly that, suggestions, so if you don't want to incorporate what I say I'm not offended. But anyway, I played the Medieval Conquests mod and it allowed you to start out as whatever rank in whatever faction you want, including king. It also allowed permanent NPCs to die and lessers to succeed them. I would've liked to see the ability to either do that or start your own kingdom. When I tried to do that I wasn't able to recruit Lords, assign territory, or organize the operations of my new faction. Installing Diplomacy for player factions would fix this, but I don't know what other problems it may create, so again, don't know if this stuff can happen, but that's just what I wanted to see.

    My suggestion as well...

    Siege Tactics?

    Flavius Silvanus said:
Have your infantry charge up the middle.

Order your cavalry to follow you and go up a flank, usually, the right flank, and act as a diversionary force. You can use the terrain or even the houses for cover.

You and your cavalry should be able to kill and distract enough of them so your infantry can make some progress.

So I will usually have 150 infantry charging while I lead the flanking force of 50 dismounted cavalry.

These might be the most fun siege battles of any mount & blade mod in my opinion.

Exactly my way of doing it, good strategy indeed

    Artillery Battery's

There are a couple of posts already around here about that subject, the usual answer is no more as it is done to cause some realism as at the time in battle they did not had too many cannons as a read around in some treads here.... Also haven't you notice that you can recruit in the arsenal 2 pieces, but actually it does not make a difference as if you recruit 1 or 2 it will always show up on the map only 2 even if you recruited 1

How do you make money early on?

Also is trading, buy cheap iron for example from Edinburgh or Toulouse and sell it in other cities and earn around 300-400% of what you invest (careful with trade penalty); also buying Flax in Vienna and selling it in for example Munich or Ratisbon, also selling wine to Venice and for some reason the Beer is very expensive in Salzburg so buy beer in Holland or some places in France and sell it there... before starting to buy early in game, wait like 3-4 days so the prices settle in properly

That's a good way to earning good money to begin with

There is no colour option in there.

    Anyway I found the way:

For those who are interested, You should go in the presentation file and change manually the red code 16711680 in the line called something like player kingdom name with the code of the colour you want.

Thanks everyone who tried to help!

    thanks for sharing
