Yes they do. It's a project they've been working on for 6 years now, maybe 7. They've made promises they couldn't keep. For a game that has been in development for so long, it's unacceptable to be unsure of a release date at least. A normal game dev company would probably have released the game 2 years ago, or if it wanted to keep improving the game like TW are doing, they would've at least gave more photos, videos and even demos to try for yourself throughout development.

Tell me when they signed contract granting you anything from them. Really interesting.  Becouse buying warband and posting stuff on forum from time to time wont do as such.

Mind that Im not saying that they should't do it. It would be nice of them and showed that they care about community. Sadly current news policy is trash at every front but that still doesnt obligate them to anything.  I also doubt you understand how complicated process of making new game and NEW ENGINE can be. Becouse if you didnt noticed most devs today just using  rented engines.

They dont have to sign a damn contract in order for them to owe us something, they made promises they couldn't keep and now they have to make up for them

I know that making a game on a brand new engine is difficult and time-consuming, but that means they have to keep us plugged by giving us photos, videos and demos for us to play, to get a feel of the game, like a normal game dev company would do. Anyway, it's just their lack of coordination, communication and PR skills.

Obviously they feel a release before the year has ended is possible, but not guaranteed, and therefore they can't specify whether it will be a 2017 or 2018 release date. They're the developers, it's up to them to decide when they game is ready. Why is there so much frustration on the release date? They're taking their time, it'll be done when it's done, and that's better for both the developers and the customers. There's far too much impatience and self-entitlement. Is Armagan not nailing down a release date really so significant in our lives?

Somewhat... well I don't want to use the word unfair, because we don't really can demand or have the right to demand to play the game ourselves. But still it is strange they first say they hope that they release the game at the end of 2016. Which has become end of 2017/anywhere in 2018. So if they launch Bannerlord as a Early Access game we can play the game, and help the development a bit. and still be able to scratch that itch. They should ofcourse only release the sandbox, and not the story mode/questline.

The stuff I have seen from screenshots, even the livestreams and videos from a year ago looked impressive. And people *****ing about bugs and broken stuff will still happen even if they release the game in 2020. (just a example/exaggeration) Only then people would be even more upset because they would have been waiting even longer then they are now to play the game. with the bugs and all including.
