there was no serial, it was unlocked upon purchase (i am currently checking my hundred mesages in email just in case its there). Will it be ok if i burn the installer in this laptop and use it in my desktop? My desktop has higher specs than this old laptop, i was hoping i could play it again and in better quality this time.

the horses. Whenever I killed an officer there is a chance that the horse will charge on me and run a little away from me. What I do is shoot them with a machine gun. Also machine gun accuracy is affected by terrain i noticed. If its just plain field, you can kill anything but if it has lots of ups and downs, even though you aim right, it wont hit them.

me and my 4 heroes. We are already a force to reckon with. I spend less everytime and we walk the map really fast.

I think because you are mercenary. After the contract I choose not to extend and then I joined a faction and got a small poor village.

you can defend it. For beginners like me, set the difficulty to the easiest and then start to make it more difficult if you think that you are ready for a harder battle. You can set your battle sizer to 25 [lowest] in the options. I used easy difficulty last night coz i defended Wercheg on my own against 8-10 khanate lords, they love me. I had 120+ troops [majority are swadian knights , vaegir knights and mercenary cavalry, few hired blades, archers]  kagainst 500+ they had like 3-5 attempts to siege me and I was lucky to survive, I was about to run out of funds because I cant get my ass out of the town, I cant make money, I was so close on having a huge debt, I was thankful they stopped the siege when I was about to run out of denars. Also they are a lot better archer than me, i was trying to kill some while they are stuck in the ladder and some arrows push me back almost every time so I decided to just go in the ladder, and break some skull. Ill back this up with my screenshots that I will upload later when i got home.

Also, don't rely on beating Vaegirs in a siege by storming - even their archers can do a lot of damage in melee, that's why I use them so much. ok, im gonna start provoking them to war to see how amazing they are, like you said, im expecting that my swadian knights would have chopped liver and my board shield in splinters.

me and 29 mid tier guys against a lord in china battle field. I felt like a tom cruise in the movie the last samurai. At first it we were doing well, the guys are holding the line and I take down the officer cavalry that runs around us. I was also receiving some damage every time i exchange shots with officers. And then we started to be out numbered, heroes are down, few guys left standing and firing. Enemy infantry started to surround us. I was trying hard to kill those japs as fast as I could with my thompson rifle. It came to the point I was the last one left and more enemy infantry was surrounding me and one by one they started pulling out their katanas and charged at me, I ran out of bullets so I use Chinese Sabre.  I killed 7 guys and I had a very little health left and then I died after being stabbed and getting shot from almost every direction.

I was not talking of them running out of arrows, I was talking about me and my boys once we are inside the wall, the archers will be force to be in meelee when face to face. Also I used that shield to cover most part of my body against attacks. Swadian knight are tough, they always kill more before they die. Especially when the siege is using ladders instead of tower.

we're talking siege here. Hardly anywhere to run, especially from arrows. And boy are Khergits good with those! As someone who has Asian archers all over his profile, I wonder how you didn't think about that.

Well, i was using the big shield that cant be use when riding horse, also i have not the best but decent armor. The armor set and the big shield is enough to protect me from arrows and it wont be long and they will be forced to use meelee attacks.
