mount and lance/two handed sword and a sheild (for my back to reduce damage from arrows after a charge at the enemy  ) always works with a team of horsemen

not bad idea, would suck to have your sword broken and have no back-up but a blacksmithing skill would help, maybe like repair 10% per skill point.

removable limbs would be awsome, maybe even use an arm or a leg as a weapon

good idea but wouldnt the enemy just like go off in a different direction once it sees your pike?

i hated the pistol, yea maybe only the player had it but it didnt fit in and there's plenty of gun mods...

im in for the Flamberge idea, or even a claymore, or basicly just a big man-sized two handed sword to curshed people with!

this is great, finally having control of what your men use is pure awesome

sounds ok to me sorta makes the game different every so often.

only downfall is a the long wait for new equip.

you say this game has the best horse-back combat that's true but you'll have to make the horse's stronger or something becuase with all the gunfights they'll just keep dying really easy which will be really annoying IMO

I think other things should be improved first but i would not mind dual-wielding.

to make it a bit more fair they should make a skill (called dual-wielding) and your second handed weapon be weaker than it's stats due to you holding two weapons and the more you advance this skill the more effective you become with them
