Has anyone found a way to rotate a position around the global axis?
I have a set of angles to the global axis and I want to rotate a position such that it matches this. But obviously I can't do it this way without global rotations because a local rotation messes up any following rotations...
So I was needing to export some stuff from 3dmax that required vertex colours as well as all the other stuff but none of the existing formats worked very well so I wrote my own exporter:
You can download it here.
It can also be used as a general mesh exporter as need be. Should work as well as...
So I need to do some custom vertex painting. I also need to do this in 3dsmax ideally. I can't work out a good workflow. The main problem is this:
I can't find a .ply exporter for 3dsmax that really works well.
OpenBRF doesn't seem to like my DAE files that I export from 3dsmax.
