I rushed to login, so I could suggest Tengger Cavalry and someone beat me to it! I used to listen to that before air assaults to get me hyped up.

Any idea if they implemented that 10% lord death chance? I don't see it in the notes, but I believe there was a lot of traffic about it in the last few weeks.

They patched last time at 16:30 UTC and it's 17:14 UTC. I'm thinking tomorrow?

Who else is excited for this hotfix?

To be honest, I'd rather have a developer say they are absolutely certain of releasing on Monday. Then when they don't release on Monday, as long as I see something along the lines of "we encountered an issue and this will set us back a few days," I'm still totally satisfied. We just like to have an idea of what your targets are and what issues you're working through.

Crash report:

Accepted escort herders from Eterburg to Calioc. Interaction with the Calioc hostile villagers causes the game to crash if you select the "take it up with the landlord" path. Tried it twice.

I'll probably take a look after work. It's funny there are some isolated battles I've been in where the AI performs incredibly well on both sides. I consider the late game that mid tier 4-tier 5 point where you'd naturally be wanting your own kingdom. I just think the ally and vassal aspect isn't really implemented. I usually play as a mercenary, then vassal, and start a new game somewhere around tier 4. I'm sure they'll get there eventually.

They have had a lot of activity on steam db in the last 9 hours. They're clearly trying. They have a great concept and maybe not the best studio. I'd prefer this over some major developer that adds a bunch of in game purchases or joins the battle royale herd.
That being said my current steam review is "not recommended." If you aren't 100 percent on board with the concept at any cost, then just come back at release. I'll be starting a new playthrough (to the middle-late game because there isn't enough for me late-game) as soon as they release the next patch.

I was slightly panicked, but excited when I saw it the first time. I'm weirdly looking forward to what promises to be a frustrating challenge.

Yes, I stand corrected. I didn't realize they were out of line with the rest of their Southern neighbors.

Oh neat. Now I can hold a glimmer of hope on Fridays. I never got used to the week ending on Thursdays living in the ARE.

Sorry to resurrect this, but does death still not work? I saw a guy post a youtube of it working a while back. It's never happened to my character or companions even if they're listed as dead.

They're in an Islamic country. Excellent chance they may release on Thursday. Unlikely they're going to release Friday. The work week is usually going to be Sunday-Thursday for normal businesses.
If the devs are saying "soon" I'm sure they'll at least implement their code tweaks in the next week. Hopefully that means more regular content updates for the rest of the month!
I don't care if the devs finish this or if it's completed by mods. It has a fun combat engine and a good premise. Only game I can be bothered to play.
Wouldn't expect much to happen at the end of the month through first week of August though, they'll have Eid...Or whatever it's called there.
