    Update:
    Deleting your saves and then validating the files on steam does fix the issue. So. If you are experiencing the bug do try that.

    I'm still not sure what caused the issue in the first place, however.

    I've recently encountered an issue in the most recent update where I am now suddenly unable to access my save. I 'Saved and Quit' last night, and then when I booted the game this morning suddenly my save file crashes on loading. My game is modded, however, this hasn't been an issue for the past...
